Lemon Rest Tote Bag

This print began as a wallpaper design for my kitchen. I wanted to make a repeating pattern with some of my favourite parts of that room and ended up with the tea plant, camellia sinsensis; lemons, and passionfruit flowers. The eventual wallpaper design included a few more duplicate elements, but this was its first incarnation and probably still my favourite. It felt like it needed something extra, and I thought it would be fun to do a little play on an old classic - when life gives you lemons. Picking out the tea plant (that's obvious) and the passion flower (an ancient herbal sleep remedy) gave me the advice that I often give myself in various forms anyway - make a pot of tea and let yourself rest.

This versatile and functional canvas tote is perfect for any occasion. It features a reinforced stitching on handles and it's made from 100% cotton sheeting. Each icon is a digital illustration created with Procreate.
