The Illyarrie, or red capped gum, has been one of my favourite eucalpti since I was a kid wandering the streets of Boorloo barefoot and barely engaging with much about Australia except the shapes and colours of its trees and flowers. I've collected its red caps and squeezed out the blooms; I've crushed and smelled the leaves and watched the pollen float into the wind. It's a special tree and a special start to the Straya collection.
Sized at 5.5 inch x 8.5 inch, these journals feature a bold soft matte cover and 96 sheets of off-white, lined paper with eye-catching bright-colored edges. Each journal includes a matching color elastic closure.
