Housepaint Botanicals A3 Art Print

This print comes from a large painting I did in lockdown 2020 here in Naarm. In one of our brief periods of lockdown respites my housemate and I went to get some housepaint sample pots to jazz up our furniture when the inevitable next period of uncertainty began. We were left with very little paint in each pot, and I had used up most of my other supplies staving off what little madness I could. I had a large A2 frame that had previously lost its plexiglass and some leftover canvas paper, so I got to work building a strange framed canvas and challenging myself to paint only in flat, modular blocks. The resulting painting still hangs in my living room but I do enjoy the way this digital rendering moves into a slightly more chaotic patterned territory - always choose the creatively chaotic option!
